Get ready to embark on the mystical trail to Humantay Lake

Early Departure: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 04:30 and 05:00 AM, kicking off our thrilling journey. We'll head towards the picturesque town of Mollepata in a comfortable tourist vehicle during a scenic two-hour drive. Enjoy views of quaint villages, llamas, alpacas, and daily life of the locals.

Breakfast in Mollepata: Upon arrival at Mollepata (2,790 msnm), we'll enjoy a hearty group breakfast. This is the ideal time to mingle and gear up for the hike.

Ascent to Humantay: Next, we transfer to the Soraypampa camp (3,910 msnm). From here, we embark on an invigorating 90-minute hike to the stunning Humantay Lake (4,200 msnm), where breathtaking views and unparalleled photo opportunities await.

Exploration and Learning: At the lake, our expert guide will provide insightful explanations about the lake's geology and cultural significance, framed by the imposing views of the majestic Salkantay Mountain (6,271 msnm).

Return to Cusco: After ample time to explore and soak in the vistas, we will trek back to Soraypampa and then head to Mollepata for a well-earned buffet lunch. We plan to return to Cusco around 17:30 hrs.
